thank you to everyone for their
support at the Hendrick's benefit. Lots of families donated
items but could not make it to the benefit so just wanted to let
everyone know all of their help was greatly appreciated. This is
an email Ann Dollery sent out to our region.
On Saturday night the TRA stopped the roping and we began the
live auction...it was just awesome! Between the live auction,
silent auction and some personal donations...everyone together
raised $34,700!!! At the dance they had the whole family come up
and they were also presented a check from the Farm Bureau that
Dylan Powell talked and handed to them for an additional $13,700
(if you do not know, John works for Farm Bureau)..I have tears
rolling right now as I type this.
There were lots of rodeo and team roping families there and
several from Needville....We had lots of fun and shed many tears
of joy.
