Thank you for your interest in TYRA!  To become a member of TYRA you must complete and return the enclosed File Information Sheet and the Membership Application Form --  which must be signed and notarized.  You must also include your $60.00 dues, ($50.00 membership + $10.00 scholarship fund), a copy of your Birth Certificate, and a recent picture.

In addition to your $60.00 dues, each TYRA family is required to sell two books of raffle tickets. Raffle tickets consist of 10 tickets at the cost of $5.00 each.  The money from this fund-raiser is used to purchase year-end prizes.

The TYRA rodeo season begins in March and ends with the Finals Rodeo in Gonzales on July 29^th – Aug. 2^nd .  As a TYRA member, you will be on the mailing list and will receive TYRA Newsletters & entry forms for each TYRA approved rodeo.   You may compete in only one TYRA rodeo per weekend.

After you start competing in the TYRA rodeos, points for each of your events will be kept in the TYRA office.  The top 25 in each event at the end of season will be eligible to compete in the Finals Rodeo in July.  This is a two go and finals rodeo.  Year-end prizes will be presented to the top six contestants in each event, as well as, for the Finals Rodeo winners.
