Contestant Shana Van Fleet-Larson
(married former TYRA cont. Ricky Larson in March) is having major
surgery January 21st in Houston to remove a tumor that is growing
between vertebras in her back. The surgery is expected to last 5
hours. Please
keep Shana, Ricky and their families in your prayers as they are going
thru this difficult time.
Halleluiah!!!!! I just talked to Kathy and yes, she said
it was not cancerous. It was a fatty mass and they removed most of it,
but couldn’t remove what was attached to the spinal cord. She said
surgery took six hours and at one time the doctor said she may not have
use of her legs. Needless to say, she does. Everything is great. God
is victorious!!!! Kathy said thank you to everyone that prayed for
Shana. What great news!!!
