Breakaway Rule # 3:
*change to: Roper must rope calf with a clean bell collar loop
when rope breaks away from the saddle horn. -A clean Bell Collar catch
is defined as a loop over the head, behind the ears, no legs or any part
of the tail in the loop.
Finals Rules:
*Delete Rule 5 - pg. 39.
*Rule 8 - pg. 39 will read : 300 points will be available at
the Finas. 1st go points, 2nd go points and average points will be
provided on 3 qualified times or scores.
Roping:
*Participant can use two loops in the calf roping events and 3
loops total in the team roping at the TYRA Finals. The back gate will
be open at all times except during the bull dogging.
Chute Dogging:
*We will be hosting the Chute Dogging event as a trial event on
at the Benefits and the Finals only for Junior Boys. We will abide by
Wrangler Junior High Rules.
*A saddle will be rewarded to the Champion and a Buckle to the
Reserve.

Rulebook.
1. A contestant may enter as many TYRA approved
rodeos as they want.
2. All the benefit rodeos will count toward year
end points.
3. Excluding the benefit rodeos, there are twenty
TYRA sanctioned rodeos. Only ten of the twenty TYRA sanctioned rodeos
will count toward year end points.
4. A contestant may enter any of the TYRA
sanctioned rodeos for jackpot money and prizes only.
5. Each rodeo entry blank will have a selection
for either POINT RODEO or JACKPOT ONLY. Each parent and contestant
shall have to sign their respective names indicating their selection.
For example: “I declare
that my child, ________________________, will be competing in this
approved TYRA rodeo as ____________________________ (
POINT RODEO or JACKPOT ONLY RODEO). I understand that
my declaration of POINT RODEO or JACKPOT ONLY RODEO is final
upon execution of this document. I further understand that this
selection is irrevocable and that no changes may be made to this
agreement at any time after its execution.

6. If no selection is made on the entry blank, it
will be automatically assumed by the rodeo secretary that the
contestant elects to JACKPOT ONLY!
7. No changes will be made to any declaration.

8. The declaration of POINT RODEO or JACKPOT ONLY
RODEO of the contestant will be reflected on the rodeo program prior to
the start of the rodeo.
